Keynote presentations at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas are some of the most anticipated and high-profile presentations in the business community. CE industry leaders from around the world share their experience, insight and vision with consumers, shareholders, press and analysts. Brian L. Roberts, Chairman and CEO of Comcast, was invited to share his thoughts on the keynote stage a first for the cable industry.
Comcast turned to Broadstreet to help craft its message and create an engaging and informative one-hour presentation for a live audience of 3,000 while millions more watched via real-time webcast.
Broadstreet designed a communication strategy that evolved the perception of Comcast as merely a cable service provider and repositioned the company as a content and entertainment creator, as well as a leader in high-speed digital service.
Co-hosted with Ryan Seacrest, the face of Comcast's E! Network, Brian Roberts took the audience on a journey through each of its core services, and introduced a series of innovative products and services that raised the competitive bar for the entire industry.
To reinforce its position as the leader in hi-def video distribution to its customers, the presentation graphics, video and other visuals were produced for the 80-foot wide screen in ultra 4K high-definition video twice the resolution of the industry standard hi-def format, creating a three-dimensional quality to the imagery.
The presentation concluded with a live performance by Flight of the Conchords, a New Zealand music and comedy duo with their own series on HBO.
