Dynamic duo produces the exceptional SportsCenter: Upfront Edition.
ESPN, The Worldwide Leader in Sports, can now add “Events” to their renowned tagline. The 2009 Upfront Presentation, fashioned after their most brand-centric, internationally recognized property, SportsCenter, won the CableFAXIES 2010 award for the best Media Event.
ESPN partnered with Broadstreet to create an exceptional experience for attendees to communicate a variety of advertising opportunities for their clients. Broadstreet recreated the iconic SportsCenter studio, complete with massive HD screens along with high-profile talent like Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald, and Joba Chamberlain to engage, inform and entertain audience members.
The competition was stiff, but ESPN’s SportsCenter: Upfront Edition gracefully outclassed prestigious events like CMT’s 2009 Music Awards Red Carpet, USA Network’s Character Project and IFC’s Monty Python: Almost the Truth. Stated by host CableFAX, “The winners of the CableFAXIES Awards took chances, made tremendous strides and understand the power of PR and marketing in the cable industry.”
The CableFAXIES recognize the industry’s most exceptional communicators for their initiatives in different arenas within the marketing and public relations fields, including heavy-hitters like Marketing Campaigns, Press Kits, and Community Relations to compliment Media Events.
