GLOBAL ONCOLOGY COMPANY

Virtual Global Commercial Meeting

A global oncology company wanted to connect with its international commercial organization, and with the restrictions of the pandemic, could not gather in a single location. They turned to Broadstreet to create a virtual environment that allowed a deeper understanding of the state of the business and the priorities moving forward.

Broadstreet applied its unique approach to virtual meetings, which combines a television broadcast-like environment with storytelling, designed to create a more intimate connection to virtual audiences. The leadership forum opened with a video that reflected on the working conditions of leaders from around the world and, in a humorous way, revealed we are all going about life and work in the same way. The meeting lasted less than two hours and was packed with relevant and crucial information for the team. Forty presenters, in groups of four, participated in ten-minute sessions that were informal and conversational. Three hundred people joined the meeting which was broadcasted twice to accommodate for global time zones; one session for Asia and another for Europe. The U.S. simultaneous translation for both sessions was provided and users could log into separate feeds in the language that accommodated their needs.

Internal survey of the audience reflected an extremely positive reaction to the format and the information provided. The meeting was convenient, effective and worthwhile for over ninety percent of the audience. Based on the reaction, the organization is planning on expanding these meetings throughout the year.
